The restaurant is handicap accessible and there is ample parking in the central parking area of the strip mall. The dining room is comfortable and pleasant but the area where we were seated was a bit drab with nothing on the bare walls to enhance the decor. Note that the check calculates tip suggestions on the amount including tax, and encourages tips in the 12-18% range, which, in my view, is excessive for a self-serve buffet. The prices are very reasonable and if you choose the right foods and avoid the sorry American items, eating here is a good value. Our server made no return visits to refill beverages, so if you need that, tell the server when he/she removes used plates from your table. Flaming Grill and Buffet, Syracuse: 29 Bewertungen - bei Tripadvisor auf Platz 394 von 662 von 662 Syracuse Restaurants mit 3/5 von Reisenden bewertet. The service was passable but nothing special. Like most Chinese buffets, the desserts here aren't very good at all, with relatively cheap and tasteless mass produced cakes of various types, out-of-a-can pudding, and stuff like that. I didn't try the seafood myself as I had other items to keep me busy, but it did look attractive. On the plus side, the fruits and salad items and the seafood looked pretty good. If the American food items were better, I'd have given a Very Good rating, but I simply can't overlook the subpar items my wife experienced. If you come to FG&B for the non-Asian food, you may be disappointed. The items she sampled tended to be dry and mealy or rubbery (the fries and onion rings were particularly dreadful). Unfortunately, some of it wasn't very good at all, and my wife was quite disappointed. There is a wide selection of non-Asian (American, if you need to give it a name) foods for those, like my wife, who don't prefer Chinese food. If you are visiting FG&B for the Asian food, you'll probably be quite satisfied. The Asian food on the buffet tables was generally pretty good, not as good as made to order would be but as good as or better than other Chinese buffets I've visited. It helps to offset the inevitable effects of food that's been standing for goodness knows how long on the buffet tables. This is available here and it was the highlight of my visit. I like Chinese buffets that provide a station where a cook will prepare stir fried food on demand, with your selection of meat, vegetables, and sauce. Go inside, however, and it is much larger and nicer than you'd expect. For starters, the shopping center is undergoing a facelift and many of the businesses, including this one, temporarily look awful from the outside during construction. However, I heard good things about this one and decided to give it a try. Full disclosure: I'm not a big fan of Chinese buffets as I prefer freshly made to order Chinese food.
